How to nominate pictures for the special GLAM category? This year, Europeana, an Internet portal gathering over 10 million of books, paintings, films and museum objects, will be sponsoring a special award for pictures representing gallery, library, archive or museum buildings (GLAM). Pictures showing both the insides and outsides of GLAM buildings—which also have to be recognised as monuments per the general WLM rule—can be added by anyone (not only the uploader!) to Category:GLAM images from Wiki Loves Monuments 2012. After the end of the competition, all images from that category will be reviewed by an Europeana jury, and the winner will be awarded a prize (a large-scale print of the winning picture) sponsored by that organisation. You can find more information about the prizes in a blog post by Europeana. Though Europeana is a specifically European organisation, pictures from allparticipating countries are eligible for the prize and can be added to the aforementioned category.
Nelle nostre liste ci sono parecchie librerie e musei, specie tra i beni liberati dal MiBAC. Spesso si trovano in palazzi storici.

Una nota: per fare in modo che queste partecipino a questo concorso speciale internazionale è necessario aggiungere (a mano) un template. (e penso che dovrebbe farlo il comitato promotore).

Hello, I know that this year Europeana provides a prize, but this year about GLAM in WLM. The pictures that participate in this category are at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:GLAM_images_from_Wiki_Loves_Monum... but, how does it work? Must we put the template in each picture individually? or could this be done automaticly? What about the prize?
